Laverack Nature Trail is now open for our 7th season. Happy Walking!

An Accessible Trail in the Heart of Meredith, NH

Picture
Located at the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, NH, this universally accessible walkway winds through wetlands into upland forest. One trailhead is located near the tennis courts at Prescott Park on US Route 3 just north of the downtown lights.  The other trailhead is behind and to the left of Meredith Village Savings Bank on NH Route 25.  The trail is 6/10 mile long with half being boardwalk and half a natural surface tread. Benches are located at three boardwalk platforms and in the classroom area. Restrooms are available at Prescott Park. The Trail is closed during the winter season.
