Trees and Shrubs
- To the left of the Kiosk at Prescott Park are a red oak tree, a white oak tree and a black cherry tree that reaches out over the trail. Also on the left beyond the oaks is a red maple tree. A short way down the trail is a large beech tree on the left. Several large Hemlock trees reach upward on either side of the trail just beyond the bridge. Further down the trail you will see a small grove of beech trees just as you are entering a young pine growth forest. Two large oak trees mark the entrance to the boardwalk. Beyond the classroom area you will see many wetland shrubs. Most common here are Dogwood, Alder, Winterberry Holly, Arrowwood, and Multiflora rose.
